Texas Rush Golf Outing 2017

The club entertained a full field of golfers at Woodforest Golf Club on Thursday, April 6, 2017 in perfect playing conditions on a superb, challenging course for the 4th Annual Texas Rush Golf Outing – “Rush To The Green.”

Texas Rush – Montgomery ’98 Rush vs. Sam Houston State University

The Texas Rush – Montgomery ’98 Boys played Sam Houston State University Men’s Club Team at Pritchett Field losing 1-2 on Friday, March 31, 2017.  Coach Jack Woolsey who currently coaches Texas Rush – Montgomery ’98B team is a former player / coach for the Sam Houston State University men’s team.

Team selected from:  Noble Lindsay, Alex Crafts, Hayden Sutherland, Nathan Christy, Karson Kincannon, Chase Kincannon, Luke Coleman, Enzo Oliveras, Clayton Payne, Cesar Flores, Elliot Sims, Dyson LeVasseur, Tyler Moore, Jackson Andrews and Walter Avila.

Bikeland – 3 vs. 3 Turf Cup 2017

The club is very excited to have Bikeland renew their partnership to sponsor the 3 vs. 3 Turf Cup 2017 which will be staged at Bear Branch on Saturday, April 15, 2017 (Easter Weekend). The event will have 200 teams and 1,200 players involved in 10 hours of non-stop festival soccer.

TOPS (Special Needs) Soccer Camp – The Bradbury Family

The club is very excited to announce our TOPS Soccer Camp partnership with the Bradbury Family (Heating & Air Conditioning, Plumbing Services). The company is family owned and is located in The Woodlands, TX and service Conroe, Magnolia, Montgomery, Oak Ridge North, Pinehurst, Shenandoah, Spring, Tomball and all surrounding areas.

The TOPS Soccer Camp will give the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, ages 4 and up, who has a mental or physical disability. TOPS purpose is to foster physical, mental, emotional growth and development for children with mental and physical challenges through the game of soccer. The camp is modified to fit the needs of the players; everyone plays at his/her level.

The Houston Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club (formerly Texas Rush Soccer Club) is very excited to officially announce their partnership with Houston Methodist Hospital.  They will now serve as the club’s primary medical care provider for over 5,500 soccer players within the club for 2017-2019 throughout the city of Houston.

Houston Dynamo Game Day vs. Columbus Crew

The club participated in their first home game experience this last weekend vs. Columbus Crew (Won 3-1) at the BBVA Compass Stadium.  Over 100 players aged 4-14 were involved in the rally tunnel greeting the players as they left the locker room prior to entering the field.

“It was great to see our members at the game and it was a very unique opportunity for our players to participate in the rally tunnel with the professional Dynamo team prior to the kick-off.    For many of the kids and parents, it was their first time to watch the Houston Dynamo play live and along with the positive result, the evening was a tremendous success.”  Natalie Olivarez, Recreational Administrator.

Brendan Dauth – Southwestern University

The club is very excited to announce that Brendan Dauth has committed to Southwestern University to play collegiate soccer for the Fall 2017 season.  Brendan has played for the club since 2005 (12 years) and has played for eleven (11) coaching staff throughout his club career.  Brendan will major in Business with a minor in Spanish.

Southwestern University competes in the Southwestern Athletic Collegiate Conference at the NCAA Division III level.

Northwest Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery – Texas Rush Soccer Club

The club is extremely excited to have Northwest Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (NWOS) as a renewed partner for 2017.  NWOS will partner with the College Advisory Program that helps players and parents navigate through the complex process of finding a college or university that provides soccer scholarship opportunities for the prospective student-athlete.  It’s a very crucial program within the club that continues to expand.

Northwest Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is proud to support Texas Rush Soccer and the College Advisory Program. “We understand that the program is very helpful to your student athletes that wish to continue playing soccer in college and we are happy to be a part of that.”  

Recently the practice welcomed two new oral surgeons, Dr. David Hoffman and Dr. Justin Liska. In addition, “We are looking forward to opening our seventh location in the master planned community, Harmony, located at Grand Parkway and Rayford Road. We anticipate that this office will open in late fall of 2017,” according to Dr. Unterman.

** Practice of six board certified oral surgeons practicing in The Woodlands, Conroe, Spring, Magnolia and Huntsville.

** Specializes in wisdom teeth extractions, the placement of dental implants, oral pathology, orthognathic surgery and other surgeries to treat conditions of the mouth, face and jaw.

** More than likely, a student athlete will need his/her wisdom teeth extracted between the ages of 15 – 18. Typically, a patient will be referred to the practice from his/her general dentist or orthodontist for wisdom teeth extractions.

** Patients and caregivers should consider recovery time when scheduling surgery and off-season is a great time to schedule. Most surgeons recommend that a patient rest for 48 hours off before resuming light physical activity. Within five to seven days, a patient can resume full physical activity.
