The 8th Annual Rush Cup

August 18th and 19th, 2012

Please forward the following information to all of your families participating in Rush Cup:

It is important that you forward this information to all of your families participating at the Rush Cup.

Please be aware there will be two sets of police officers at Bear Creek Park this weekend:

The first set are officers who will be on parking detail. They will be directing traffic so parking can be found and traffic can be kept moving. PLEASE FOLLOW THEIR LEAD to organize parking at the facility. Please follow their lead and park where they tell you too!!
The second set COUNTY OFFICERS WHO ENFORCE STATE LAWS will be patrolling the park looking for people parking on the grass around the parking areas. THIS IS FORBIDDEN!! It is now state law that you cannot park on the grass you must park in a designated parking spot.
Sadly Last year a young girl lost her life at Bear Creek due to cars being parked on the grass areas. She was hit by a car that could not see her due to the drivers vision being blocked by cars parked on the grass.
At the last tournament there were hundreds of citations written!! DON’T BE THE NEXT ONE!!

The tournament will be held at Bear Creek Park in Houston, TX. (All age groups for boys and girls will be at Bear Creek Park near Katy, TX)

General Information

Welcome to the 7th Annual Rush Cup Soccer Tournament hosted by the Texas Rush Soccer Club on the weekend of August 20th and 21st, 2011. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Texas Rush Soccer Club Scholarship Fund which helps provide the opportunity to play soccer to children less fortunate in our community.

This year's tournament has competition in three ability levels for boys and girls . The Open bracket is for Division 1 teams, Competitive bracket is for Super 2 and Division 2 teams and the Youth Academy bracket is for U9 & U10 teams. The Youth Academy bracket is for U9 (6v6), U10 (8v8); The Open and Competitive brackets are for U11 - U12 (8 v 8) and U13 - U18/U19 (11 v11). For the U9-U12 age groups there is a limit of 3 guest players. The U13 - U18 age groups will have a limit of 5 guest players.
