’03 ECNL – ECNL Phoenix Showcase 2017

The ’03 ECNL Girls recently returned from Phoenix, AZ after competing in the U14 ECNL Showcase, April 7-9.  The team played three games against quality competition from around the country.  The results were as follows:

Texas Rush – Montgomery ’98 Rush vs. Sam Houston State University

The Texas Rush – Montgomery ’98 Boys played Sam Houston State University Men’s Club Team at Pritchett Field losing 1-2 on Friday, March 31, 2017.  Coach Jack Woolsey who currently coaches Texas Rush – Montgomery ’98B team is a former player / coach for the Sam Houston State University men’s team.

Team selected from:  Noble Lindsay, Alex Crafts, Hayden Sutherland, Nathan Christy, Karson Kincannon, Chase Kincannon, Luke Coleman, Enzo Oliveras, Clayton Payne, Cesar Flores, Elliot Sims, Dyson LeVasseur, Tyler Moore, Jackson Andrews and Walter Avila.

college level of play and be in that atmosphere.  For some of our younger
players that attended the game it was a great opportunity for them to see
the level of play they need to aspire to.”

TEXAS RUSH HOSTS THREE EXCITING EVENTS – JANUARY 27-29, 2017

Texas Rush Soccer Club hosted the U11 Winter Festival, Houston Jr. ECNL Event and a College Showcase this past weekend utilizing two premier soccer facilities in The Woodlands, TX.

Eighteen (18) of the best teams from Houston, San Antonio, Austin and Dallas attended the U11 Winter Festival.  Over 650 players, coaches and parents enjoyed beautiful weather and first class playing facilities at Gosling Sports Park.
Just 1 mile away, thirty eight (38) teams competed at the Houston Jr. ECNL event hosted at Bear Branch Sports Fields in The Woodlands.  The top U12 and U13 teams from Texas, Oklahoma, Minnesota and Florida competed in three days of high-level competition.
Bear Branch Sports Fields also played host to the first Houston Winter Festival College Combine.  Fifty four (54) players, representing 3 Houston soccer clubs showcased their skills for 15 college coaches who were present.

NCAA Men’s College Cup Youth Showcase 2016

The following teams participated in the NCAA Men’s College Cup Youth Showcase, December 9-11 at Lindsay Lyons Park and Sports Complex, Houston.

The 2016 NCAA Men’s College Cup Showcase was held in conjunction with the NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Championship weekend.  The 2016 NCAA Men’s College Cup Showcase was open to all boys competitive premier and elite club teams ages U15 to U19. Top teams from across the country competed at the highest level in front of college coaches at the showcase. The showcase followed a three (3) game format with no finals or championship games.
